PS 333/335’s 5th Grade Starfish Program

On January 24th,PS 333/335’s 5th Grade Starfish learned about the civil rights movement of the 60’s and then had a blast making their own tie-dye t-shirts, belts and bandanas.

Kathy Mojica starts the afternoon off with a warm-up featuring the word of the week (bond) and joke of the week (Why is it dangerous to put “M” in the freezer? Becuase then you’d have Mice!)

Annie Kessler and Juanita Chisom show their Starfish how to tie off their fabric to create crazy patterns.
